Remarks

Because the patent is expired, one is allowed to make blocks with the same shape, but not using the name Accropode. Of course, such clones do not have any quality control by CLI. An example of such a clone solution is the Chinese Pod, applied in Colombo, Sri Lanka.

A disadvantage of the Accropode is the complicated way of placement; the flat sides of the anvil are not allowed to be parallel to the flat sides of neighbouring blocks. This problem has been solved by the Accropode-II.
